Deutsches Hygiene-Museum Dresden
Lars Peter Krause
February 8 – 15, 2021
Neumarkt
The Deutsches Hygiene-Museum has taken on the sponsorship of the Neumarkt site and commissioned the Dresden poster artist Lars Peter Krause to take a critical look at the subject of 13 February. In his own visual language of street art, very different motifs from contemporary history are superimposed.
Lars Peter Krause was born in Hoyerswerda in 1970 and now lives and works in Dresden. He studied painting and various graphic printing techniques autodidactically and founded the Douze Studios with the Douze Printshop in Dresden in 2000. He designs and prints covers and art posters for musicians and bands such as The Black Keys, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, Beatsteaks, Die Toten Hosen and many more. Krause has been a member of the American Poster Institute since 2005.
